2. The mold manufacturer can prepare the mold design in advance that will prevent any delay.
3. For high quality mold production, it requires working closely of 2 sides to reduce the cost and shorten the delivery time.
Secondly, the buyer should not only consider the cost, but also need to take quality, delivery, services into account.
1. There are many types of mold that can be divided into 10 categories. We can choose different types of mold according to the different requirements of parts material, physicochemical property, mechanical strength, dimensional accuracy, surface finishing, service life, economy and so on.
2. For the high precision molds, not only the mold material and forming process has strict requirements, but also need to use high-precision CNC machines machining and use CAD / CAE / CAM mold technology for design and analysis.
3. Because special requirements during injection for some parts , so the mold requires some advanced technologies, such as ot runner, gas-assisted molding, nitrogen cylinder and so on.
4. The manufacturer should equip with CNC machines, EDM machines, WEDM machines, milling machines, high-precision grinding machines, three-dimensional coordinate measure machines, design and other related software.
5. For large scale stamping mold(such as mold of car front cover), it should consider if the machines has a blank holder, even the the lubricants , multi-position progressive and so on. Except to consider the stamping tonnage, the frequency, feeding equipment, punching machine and mold protection device should also be taken into account.
6. Not all manufacturers master such capacities and technologies. So when choosing a cooperative manufacturer, please not just consider the equipments and scale , but also learn about its processing capacity, experience and technical strength.
7. For the same mold, the quotation from different manufacturers sometimes will have a large differences. You should not pay more than the real value of the mold, at the same time, you also should not pay less than the cost of the mold. Mold manufacturers should have a reasonable profit in the business. Making a very low cost mold will be the beginning of trouble. Buyer should measure all from his needs.
